Personal support services (PSS/X) is the most utilized service in the CCSP EDWP Waiver Program. PSSX is a type of assistance individuals may receive to help them manage day-to-day tasks or live more independently in their homes. These services can be performed by a trained professional or a family member that will be hired and trained by an agency chosen by the member.

What Does Personal Care Services Include?

These services include a dedicated individual who is trained on how to care for you properly. These aids assist with meal preparation, hygiene, nutrition, light housekeeping, necessary errands, other support services, and in-home care. Personal Support Services are perfect for individuals who may be unable to care for themselves due to a disability or illness.

These services are perfect for individuals who want to stay in their home or environment that they are comfortable with and do not want to change their lives dramatically.
